After gaining a cult following in Japan and the skating world, the adidas Adimatic has triumphantly returned in 2022, with new designs and OG colorways.

A slew of colorways were announced last month that are expected to be available during the holiday season. Still, the one pair in collaboration with Atmos Tokyo is scheduled to debut much sooner.

The Adimatic is an homage to the original brown box packaging, and the pair is covered in its standard suede make-up, which takes on a tonal brown hue dubbed "Mesa." The same material and color apply to the tongue, with large tonal laces weaving in and out of the black Three Stripes logo and resting just below a black and white adidas branded tongue tag.

Each pair of shoes has a leather hangtag that looks like the paper tag on original Adimatic releases. The only difference is that atmos make their logo debossed on the reverse side.

adidas branding in black embroidery sits atop the heel's black rubber overlay, while the all-black sock liner provides a final touch of OG details. The sneaker's insoles feature a custom box graphic that showcases original Adimatic boxes alongside a fused atmos and adidas logo.

Underfoot, a cream white midsole gets paired with a gum rubber outsole.

The atmos x adidas Adimatic OG Shoebox will be available on September 17th, 2022, through atmos Tokyo. Men's sizes will be offered with a retail price of ¥13,200 (approx USD $90). Those interested can attend an in-store workshop to learn more and purchase the shoes.
