The sneaker's popularity has only increased throughout the summer as a streetwear essential, so adidas golf is releasing four tropical colors of the Samba Golf.
Adidas last released a golf version of the Samba in 2012, and this time, the German brand has chosen to dress up one of its iconic shoes with four pastel colors - pink, white, yellow, and blue. The shoe's laces, stripes, and tongue tab will also be matching colors.
To complete the effect, a sockliner graphic connects the four hues to create a sunset and sunrise.
While the Samba's form has earned it a following among soccer fans, skateboarders, and city-dwellers everywhere, several improvements have been made to ensure that this simple, flat-bottomed shoe is prepared to play on the golf course.
The first is a 10,000-step rating, which means the golf shoe can withstand various terrain while still providing comfort and toe protection. The midsole features added EVA cushioning to provide additional support and comfort for the torque generated during the swing and the 10,000 steps frequently required to walk 18 holes.
The second is an adiwear spikeless outsole that looks like the iconic Samba pattern and provides extra grip for the course.
