Ryan Gosling in Talks to Star in 'Ocean's Eleven' Prequel Alongside Margot Robbie
According to recent reports, Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling may be teaming up for another project—this time, a more action-packed film. Earlier this year, Robbie was confirmed to star in and produce the new Ocean’s Eleven prequel.
The cast now comprises major and minor names, with many already in talks to star in the movie alongside Robbie. While there is little information about the script, the film takes place in Europe during the 1960s. Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Matt Damon, and Julia Roberts appeared in the previous trilogy of movies.
In 2018, Ocean's Eight was released with an all-female cast, including Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Rihanna, Sarah Paulson, and Helena Bonham Carter.
Jay Roach is set to produce the prequel with Robbie. The two are also working together on the new Barbie film that will be released in theaters on July 21, 2023.
